Luke Del Rio

It has been a whirlwind few months for Luke Del Rio.

First, the quarterback left Episcopal after passing for more than 2,500 yards and 20 TDs last season, because his father, Jack Del Rio, became the defensive coordinator for the Denver Broncos.

The move to the Denver metro-area was filled with intrigue about which school Luke Del Rio would attend. In early February he enrolled at burgeoning powerhouse Valor Christian.

Today, CBSSports.com reported that Del Rio committed to play college football at Oklahoma State. He announced his decision via Twitter.

His post read: "Just committed to Oklahoma State!!! #HWPO #dointhegundy #cowboynation #Blessed"

The recruitment of the 6-foot-2, 180-pound signal caller intensified recently after a strong showing at two Elite 11 events. The Valor Christian (Highlands Ranch, Colo.) player reportedly also had offers from Colorado State and Oregon State.
