Covering High School Sports in America
Cornerback Doran Grant of St. Vincent-St. Mary (Akron, Ohio) and tight end Nick Vannett of Westerville Central (Ohio) were among those who signed their letters of intent Wednesday morning to compete for Ohio State.

Grant, a 5-foot-11, 180-pounder, verbally committed to play for the Buckeyes in January. He is ranked No. 1 among MaxPreps.com's Top 25 cornerbacks and 32nd overall.

Vannett, a 6-6, 240-pounder, verbally committed to OSU in June of 2010 and is ranked No. 6 among MaxPreps.com's Top 25 tight ends.

Others who reportedly have signed their letters of intent after previously verbally committing to play for the Buckeyes include Brian Bobek, Tommy Brown, Conner Crowell, Chase Farris, Bryce Haynes, Steve Miller, Ejuan Price, Evan Spencer and Antonio Underwood.

Miller is a 6-4, 230-pounder who verbally committed to Ohio State in October. He is ranked No. 25 among MaxPreps.com's Top 25 defensive ends.
