Marlon Humphrey can now pass on advice about the recruiting process to his younger brother, Marion.

Recruiting starts earlier and earlier, especially when you're the brother of one of the nation's top athletes.

Marion Humphrey, a recruit from the class of 2018, is apparently already hearing from South Carolina. This according to a tweet from older brother Marlon Humphrey, one of the nation's top defensive backs as well as a national-caliber hurdler.

The older Humphrey is expected to sign with Alabama, according to the 247Sports Crystal Ball.

Father Bobby starred at running back for the Crimson Tide.

Marion is barely halfway through his eighth-grade season. Even as a freshman, he's likely to play with the ninth-grade team at Hoover, meaning he's still roughly two years away from playing varsity football.

Among players in the class of 2018, Humphrey is far from the first recruit it get offered.

In April, Vanderbilt offered Washington then seventh-grader Jahlen Jack.

Trinity Christian standout Tyreke Johnson received offers weeks later.
