Dontre Wilson announced his college decision two days before National Signing Day.

Dontre Wilson, one of the most electric running backs in the country, committed to Ohio State on Monday night.

Wilson made the announcement live on a local television station. He chose the Buckeyes over Texas and Oregon.

The 5-foot-10, 180-pounder thrived in one of the nation's top offenses this past fall playing for DeSoto (Texas). He rushed for 1,895 yards and 37 scores in addition to hauling in nine touchdown passes.

In May, Wilson made a verbal commitment to Oregon. Rumors that he was reconsidering his commitment began to swirl after Chip Kelly announced he was taking a job with the Eagles.

He joins a recruiting class that features Ezekiel Elliot, J.T. Barrett and Jalin Marshall.
