No. 46 recruit Joel Caleb picks Virginia Tech

Joel Caleb, the No. 46 recruit in the country, has picked Virginia Tech.

The 6-foot-3, 205 senior from Clover Hill (Va.) is the No. 1 recruit from Virginia.

According to CBS/MaxPreps recruiting expert Tom Lemming, he can do it all.

"He's modest and unassuming in person," Lemming said. "But he's very aggressive and has great instincts on the gridiron."

Caleb can play free safety, strong safety or possible grow into an outside linebacker.

"He's a leader both off and on the field," Lemming said.
