Austin Golson (74), Prattville

No team is hotter on the recruiting trail than Ole Miss, which recently landed elite receiver Laquon Treadwell and top defensive end Elijah Daniel, and is poised to land the nation's No. 1 recruit, Robert Nkemdiche.

Now the Rebels are in the mix for one of the country's top offensive linemen, Prattville (Ala.) tackle Austin Golson.

A source close to the situation told MaxPreps that Golson, who committed to Florida State as a sophomore, is strongly considering Ole Miss. In fact, the Rebels could hold a slight lead over both Florida State and late-charging Auburn, which hopes to get Golson to visit this weekend.

The 6-foot-6, 285-pound Golson was a mainstay on the offensive line for Prattville for three seasons.

As a junior, he helped Prattville capture the Class 6A state title.
