Covering High School Sports in America

We've already seen some incredible trick plays this season, from the Sherwood Wrecking Ball to the El Camino Real Wrong Ball Trick.

You can put the Hialeah Cougars' trick up there with the best of them.

The Miami youth league football squad flawlessly executed one of the season's finest trick plays in a recent match-up against the Dania Beach Bears.

With the score tied 12-12 in the fourth quarter, Hialeah's coaching staff made the call.

In video taken by MaxPreps Qwixcorer Mike Raigoso, Hialeah quarterback Treyvon Fowler is seen quickly jogging toward the sideline, seemingly to have a quick chat with the coaching staff to confirm the play call.

As Fowler nears the sideline, the ball is snapped directly to the running back as Fowler sprints toward the sideline and catches a deep pass for a touchdown.

Mater Academy fans might have something to look forward to next year. According to Raigoso, Fowler is expected to enroll there as a freshman next fall.

Perhaps he'll bring this play with him.
