is the top-ranked team in Ohio and ranked in the most recent Xcellent 25 National Rankings
Senior quarterback Kelvin Cook
is a big reason why.
The 5-foot-9 senior has guided the team to a 3-0 start and, in a win on Friday against Louisville Trinity, ripped off one of the most impressive highlights of the young season.
On the Cardinals' own 2-yard line, Cook took the snap in his own end zone, faked the hand off, and began his improbable run.
Cook shaked and baked, avoided numerous tackles, and sprinted down the sideline for a huge 95-yard score against Trinity.
Colerain and their slippery quarterback will look to remain unbeaten when they play Lakota East on Friday.
