Some of the nation's top incoming freshmen have garnered attention in recent weeks.
MaxPreps.com's Dave Krider profiled one of them Monday – 6-foot-9 Indianapolis "guard" Trey Lyles.
"In my opinion, he’s the best eighth grader I’ve ever seen and he could be a No. 1 pick in the (NBA) draft," Arsenal Tech (Indianapolis, Ind.) head coach Frank Kendrick told Krider.
The quote makes me cringe a bit, but it will be interesting nonetheless to see what type of impact he has on Hoosier State hoops next winter.
The Orlando Sentinel touched on future Lake Highland Prep (Orlando, Fla.) guard Joel Berry Jr.
And the bonanza of incoming frosh information is found on the site for the Fab Frosh All-American Camp, which was held July 2-4 in Chicago. Plenty to chew on there and lots of names to follow over the next four years.
