One of the top high school football plays in the country this year comes from north of the border.
Check out St. Michael's College (Toronto, Ontario) junior varsity standout Jaeden Washington break roughly a dozen tackles on his way to 50-yard touchdown run against CISAA-rival St. Andrew's (Aurora, Ontario) in a game played on September 21.
Washington, who also plays rugby, is first hit in the backfield but refuses to go down. Using a mean stiff arm and lowering his shoulder, he somehow rumbles into the end zone for the touchdown.
St. Michael's went on to win easily, 53-2.
Think he'd never be able to pull off that run against an American team?
Washington was a member of the Canadian U-16 squad that defeated Team USA 20-19 in the International Bowl
