Cara Goodwin continued to dominate Alabama softball hitters this week, according to the Cullman Times.

The 5-foot-6 senior righthander, who has signed with UAB, hurled Good Hope (Cullman, Ala.) to a 13-0 victory in five innings over Falkville (Ala.). She struck out eight and hit two while pitching her ninth no-hitter of the year. In addition, she collected a pair of hits and drove in three runs.

It marked the 11th shutout and 13th consecutive victory this year for the Raiders, who raised their record to 21-5.

Goodwin, who was Alabama's Class 4A Pitcher of the Year as a junior, holds single-season state records for most strikeouts (525), innings pitched (318) and shutouts (19).
