Dante Fowler spurns Florida State, signs with Florida

Dante Fowler, a stand out defensive end from Lakewood, decommitted from Florida State and signed with Florida.

The 6-foot-3, 235-pound Fowler was the subject of months of rumors and speculation that he might not sign with the Seminoles.

Fowler ranks at the nation's No. 44 recruit overall, and the nation's No. 6 defensive end.

He joins a recruit class that features Jonathan Bullard, Dante Phillips and Jafar Mann on the defensive line.
