Chance Allen, Fort Bend Elkins

The Oregon Ducks came away with a double-flip from two of Fort Bend ISD's top recruits in Fort Bend Elkins (Missouri City, Texas) wide receiver Chance Allen and Fort Bend Hightower (Missouri City, Texas) athlete Bralon Addison. Allen was the first of the day to sign between the duo after flipping to the Ducks from his Oklahoma State commitment. With Allen, dressed in full Oregon gear a short time later, Addison dropped his commitment to the Texas A&M Aggies for the Ducks. Addison's signing with the Ducks caused swift reaction from fans and players alike from all parts of the region and the country.

National Signing Day Decisions by Uncommitted Headliners

In statewide interest, there were two major National Signing Day decisions to be made by Brandeis (San Antonio) safety Colin Blake and Skyline (Dallas) wide receiver Thomas Johnson. Blake, the country's No. 13 safety according to MaxPreps, chose to make his college home in Tallahassee at Florida State. Blake had also considered TCU and Oklahoma after decommitting recently from Texas A&M.

Johnson decommitted from the Texas Longhorns just after participating in the Under Armour All-America Game and came down to a Signing Day decision in which he selected the Texas A&M Aggies. Johnson, the No. 94 overall recruit and No. 8 wide receiver according to Max Preps, selected the Aggies over the TCU Horned Frogs and the Oregon Ducks.
