Matt Davis, one of the nation's top dual-threat quarterbacks, should fit in well at Texas A&M, judging by his dislike of Texas.

The 6-foot-2, 205-pound quarterback blasted the Longhorns on his Twitter account, @That_DavisGuy.

"I hope one day these kids realize that if you play receiver and Texas 'wants' you, they're gonna sign you and stash you for 4 years," Davis tweeted, following the news that former Texas A&M commit Bralon Addison had signed with Oregon.

Davis went on to suggest that the school only recruits wide receivers to keep them away from rival schools.

"They have a pre-meditated roster, if you're not on it, oh well have fun on 6th street cause that's as far as you'll go," he tweeted.

He specifically called out Longhorns safety Blake Gideon.

"And again, EVERYTHING at Texas is political. It had to be because Blake Gideon should of NEVER touched the field! Lol. He's Terrible," Davis tweeted.

Prior to Texas A&M's departure to the SEC, Davis had his sights set on playing against the Longhorns.

"It's not necessarily I don't like them. I'm not saying I do. But I want to play them. I've always wanted to play them," Davis told MaxPreps in mid-August, prior to the news of Texas A&M formally joining the SEC.

Davis later apologized to Texas fans and Gideon himself, admitting his comments were meant as a joke.

"Didn't know people took it seriously man. Blake if you was offended, apologies," he tweeted.
