2:45 p.m. EST West Chester Lakota West senior tight end Alex Smith has switched his college commitment to Kentucky and will sign with the Wildcats on Wednesday, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer.
Smith, who is 6 feet 5 and 260 pounds, had orally committed to North Carolina in late November 2009. Prior to his commitment to North Carolina, Smith had orally committed to Cincinnati in February 2009.
Smith had 23 receptions for 411 yards and four touchdowns for the Firebirds during the 2009 season. |
