Greg Gilmore, South View

LSU scored a major recruiting victory yesterday when Greg Gilmore made a verbal commitment to the Tigers.

The 6-foot-4, 273-pound Gilmore picked LSU over Florida and others, according to multiple reports.

Gilmore gives the Tigers a potentially dominant tackle to anchor the interior of its defensive line.

As a senior, he's registered 64 tackles and a sack for South View (Hope Mills, N.C.), whose season ended two weeks ago with a loss to Seventy-First.

The No. 90 MaxPreps recruit, Gilmore joins a LSU recruiting class that already features fellow Top 100 recruits Ethan Pocic and DeSean Smith, and could still add the nation's No. 21 recruit, Tim Williams.
