Is
Tyler Boyd a better high school football player than former Ohio State University star Terrelle Pryor when he played for Jeannette (Pa.)?
After the 6-foot-1, 175-pound senior running back had rushed for 288 yards and scored five touchdown as
Clairton (Pa.) blanked Brentwood (Pittsburgh, Pa.) 39-0, Brentwood coach Kevin Kissel told the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, "I coached against Terrelle Pryor a few years ago. I believe Tyler Boyd is a better high school football player than Terrelle Pryor was. I actually thought we played well tonight. But we could have had 17 players on the field and we weren't going to tackle Tyler Boyd. I have never seen anyone like him."
Boyd not only made several spectacular touchdown runs - once hurdling an un-blocked tackler - but he also made a hit from his free safety position that could be heard throughout the stadium.
The Bears now have won a national-best 58 consecutive games and are one victory shy of the state record.
