Jordan Franklin had another big week for Trinity Prep (Napa, Calif.), thus ensuring that he will continue to rank among the leading boys basketball scorers in the nation.

The 5-foot-9 junior guard is No. 3 in the country with a lofty 38.7 scoring average.

The Napa Valley Register reported that on Thursday Franklin had 47 points, eight steals and six rebounds during a 66-55 victory over Lutheran (Elk Grove, Calif.) in a three-overtime thriller. The next night he exploded for 52 points, but the Crusaders were handed a tough 76-71 defeat by Freedom Christian (Fair Oaks, Calif.).

Friday's loss dropped Trinity Prep's record to 8-7.
