The Kent City (Mich.) girls basketball team made a state-record 23 3-point baskets during an 82-17 rout of Lee (Wyoming, Mich.) with Justine Wolter accounting for six en route to a 22-point performance. The previous state record of 18 had stood since 2003.

* Riverdale (Murfreesboro, Tenn.) defeated Siegel (Murfreesboro, Tenn.) 61-42, raising its record to 18-0 and its winning streak to 41 games. The Warriors hold down the No. 2 spot in the MaxPreps Xcellent 25 national girls rankings.

* Trischa Lacy poured in 50 points as Urbana (Ohio) defeated Indian Lake (Lewiston, Ohio) 77-71.  She also had 10 rebounds, nine steals and five assists.

* Junior forward Victoria Vivians had 41 points, 14 rebounds and five blocks to spark Scott Central (Forest, Miss.) to a 59-53 victory over Forest (Miss.) in the finals of the Scott County Tournament.
