Thomas Johnson signed with Texas A&M during a signing ceremony at the school today.
The 6-foot, 180-pound standout is the nation's No. 8 prospect at the position according to MaxPreps. He caught 59 passes for 1,077 yards this past season.
Johnson picked the Aggies over finalists California, Texas Christian and Oregon.
"The best conference in the land," he said about the Aggies' impending move to the SEC. "It just felt right. If you overthink it, you can
make the wrong decision."
Johnson verbally committed to Texas in February of 2011, but decommitted this past December.
