Covering High School Sports in America
The sentiment regarding college football recruiting certainly depends on one's perspective. For top high school prospects the process can be exhilarating and exhausting. Undoubtedly, the same goes for the coaches who recruit them.

With all the time, effort and money spent on attracting high school prospects, perhaps Clemson coach Dabo Swinney has the right approach to deal with the annual madness. If a recruit commits to the Tigers but then decides to visit another school later, it comes with a cost.

According to The Post and Courier, Albemarle (N.C.) offensive lineman RJ Prince became the third prospect in recent years to have his offer pulled after he visited another school after originally committing to the Tigers. The newspaper reported that after Prince, a 2013 recruit, visited North Carolina over the weekend, Clemson scratched him from its list.

It appears the 6-foot-6, 285-pound Prince will be fine, as he reportedly as offers from the Tar Heels, Duke, East Carolina, Mississippi State, North Carolina State and South Carolina to consider.

What are your thoughts about how Clemson handles these situations?
