Troy Flutie, Natick

Troy Flutie is carrying on his family name in a big way as a junior quarterback at powerhouse Natick ( Mass.). He is the son of former Boston College star Darren Flutie and the nephew of Heisman Trophy winner Doug Flutie.

The 6-foot, 160-pounder fired two touchdown passes and ran for two other scores during a 47-6 victory over Brookline (Mass.). Five of his six completions went to sophomore wide receiver Brian Dunlap (5-11, 175), one of his best friends since fourth grade, according to the Boston Globe.

Look for this combination to put up huge numbers this year in the Redhawks' no-huddle, spread offense.

Last year Flutie completed 62.4 percent of his passes for 2,018 yards and 21 touchdowns. He threw only 10 interceptions. He also ran for 1,100 yards and 11 touchdowns. Dunlap caught 69 passes for 1,172 yards and 14 touchdowns as a freshman.
