Sebastian LaRue, Santa Monica

A super-athlete with blinding speed, LaRue opened the eyes of coaches and spectators with a phenomenal 99-yard kickoff return in last year's opening round playoff game against Channel Islands (Oxnard, Calif.). After that, everyone involved in LaRue's life knew he was going to be a special player.

LaRue has gained tremendous support from his brother, Chazz Vickers, whose games Sebastian would attend as a young man. His mother, Domonique Dane, recognized Sebastian's football talent in 8th grade and has been in his corner ever since.

"My family, they respect what I'm doing," said LaRue. "They're with me every step of the way."

After playing football at USC, LaRue hopes to one day make it to the NFL so that he can give back to his community.
