Utah football will never be the same thanks to Skyline (Salt Lake City) mentor Roger Dupaix.

According to the Salt Lake Tribune, the winningest football coach in state history is retiring. Dupaix won 301 games during his career between Skyline and Highland. His eight state championships also top the Utah record book.

Dupaix turned Skyline into a state power that also garnered national recognition. The Eagles won seven state titles in the 1990s, including five consecutive Class 5A titles from 1995-99. His final team this past season finished 7-4 and lost in the Class 4A quarterfinals.
