Covering High School Sports in America
With the U.S. Olympic swimming trials reaching a fevered pitch in Omaha this week, the National Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Association recently released its list of high school All-Americans.

The lists compile the Top 100 performances in each event during the recently completed school year. Kansas ranked 34th overall nationally in the number of athletes with nine, while California came in at No. 1 with 750 honorees.

Led by Chris Hearl of Blue Valley and Courtney Caldwell of Lawrence Free State, Kansas had seven boys All-Americans and two girls honorees, respectively.
