Cole Harris intercepted a pass to seal the win for Fayetteville.

If there was one team that could put an end to Bentonville's perfect season, it was Fayetteville.

The Bulldogs upset the national No. 14-ranked Tigers, 31-20, in the Arkansas 7A championship game on Saturday.

Bentonville had gone 37-1 over the past three seasons with its only loss coming to — you guessed it — Fayetteville in last year's championship game, a 29-28 overtime thriller.

Fayetteville's Cole Harris intercepted a pass and returned it for a touchdown with 1:56 remaining in the game to clinch the victory.

Given that Fayetteville plays in the highest classification, the win means that the Bulldogs will likely be crowned as the No. 1 team in Arkansas.
