In the biggest shocker half-way through National Signing Day,
Deontay Greenberry has signed with the University of Houston.
The long and lanky 6-foot-3, 187-pound receiver from
Washington Union (Fresno, Calif.) has been a firm commit to Notre Dame since May, but after an official trip to the Lone Star State on Friday, he changed his mind.
Greenberry,
a first team MaxPreps All-American, had 110 catches this season for 2,165 yards and 33 touchdowns. The yards and touchdowns were state single-season records. He led Washington Union to a CIF State Division III Bowl championship.

The University of Houston has confirmed the signing on its website.
Greenberry is the
No. 45 recruit in the nation, according to MaxPreps. His flip from Notre Dame will no doubt hurt the Irish's
national recruiting ranking.
