Findlay Prep's Nigel Williams-Goss scored 26 points in the quarterfinals against Montrose Christian to set up a semifinal showdown with St. Benedict's Prep.

Ranked No. 1 in's Academy Top 10 and the top seed in the National High School Invitational, Findlay Prep (Henderson, Nev.) almost saw its stay in Maryland for the event become a very brief one.

But once again it was Nigel Williams-Goss coming to the rescue for the Pilots, scoring 26 points as Findlay Prep rallied for a 57-53 win over Montrose Christian (Rockville, Md.) in the opening round of the NHSI held at Georgetown Prep in Bethesda.

Montrose Christian, who received a team-high 21 points from Ishmail Wainright, led 48-42 going into the final eight minutes, but the Pilots fought back to improve to 35-0 this season and extend their overall win streak to 54 games.
