Covering High School Sports in America
It won't take long for those who visit Franklin, Ohio to discover the small town's biggest source of civic pride.

According to the Journal-News, five signs have been placed around the community honoring Luke Kennard — a rising senior at Franklin High School and Ohio's reigning Mr. Basketball.

Kennard, a 6-foot-4 guard who committed to Duke in March, averaged 40 points per game for the Wildcats as a junior. He earned MaxPreps All-American honors along with Ohio Mr. Basketball and Division II Co-Player of the Year.

The future Blue Devil has also starred at quarterback for the Franklin football team and was featured in a MaxPreps series last summer highlighting the nation's top multi-sport athletes.
