was still an unknown commodity on the recruiting trail
, despite helping lead his team to a state title in the largest classification in Kansas.
Now the 6-foot-6, 280-pound Smith is seeing his recruiting skyrocket.
According to Smith's father Dave, he has received offers from Missouri, TCU, Kansas State, South Carolina and Oklahoma.
Missouri was first to offer; the Tigers recently landed a verbal commitment
from fellow '14 lineman Andy Bauer
Smith's sister is a track and field athlete at TCU, so the Horned Frogs could have an inside track. He visited the Fort Worth school in March.
Smith attended Nebraska's Junior Day but has yet to receive an offer.
