Covering High School Sports in America

Carlee Clemons of Millbrook (Raleigh, N.C.) put his name on the map over the weekend with this dunk at the Basketball Elite Southeast Summer Showcase.

The one-day event in Winston-Salem, N.C., featured a large number top prospects from the Carolinas.

Kedrick Flomo of North Forsyth (Winston-Salem) walked away with MVP honors. Gerald Vaughn Jr. of Westwood (Blythewood, S.C.) earned the Coaches Award.

The 6-foot-1 Clemons had no problem taking the dunk title after turning in the effort above. The brave souls that watched him soar overhead were 6-foot-8 Javis Howard of Irmo (Columbia, S.C.) and 6-7 Gary Clark of Clayton (N.C.), two of the camp's top big men.

Other standouts included Stavian Allen of Christian Faith Center Academy (Creedmoor, N.C.), Colton Bishop of Forsyth Country Day (Lewisville, N.C.), Gabe DeVoe of Shelby (N.C.), Zaqwuan Matthews of Myers Park (Charlotte), Coye Simmons of Winston-Salem Prep and James Tillman of Kings Mountain (N.C.).
