(January 5, 2012: Phoenix, AZ 85021) The Westwind Prep Academy Warriors (Phoenix, AZ) basketball felled the visiting Maryvale Panthers (Phoenix, AZ), 72-56 in Thursday's non-league contest.
The Warriors now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hayden for a non-league contest on Friday, January 6. Westwind Prep Academy will meet a Falcons team coming off a 61-50 non-league win over Flowing Wells (Tucson, AZ). The Falcons record now stands at 3-6.
The Panthers (1-11) will now prepare for their contest against Camelback (Phoenix, AZ). The Spartans enter the I Section I contest with a 2-8 record. In their last contest, Camelback was defeated by Central (Phoenix, AZ), 55-45, in a league contest.
