Kansas High School Basketball - Word of Life overwhelms Macksville

(February 10, 2012: Wichita, KS 67204) Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Word of Life Fire (Wichita, KS) and the visiting Macksville Mustangs (Macksville, KS), witnessed Word of Life's basketball squad crush Macksville by a margin of 65-33.

The Fire (12-5) will now prepare for their test against Oklahoma City Storm (Oklahoma City, OK). The Storm go into the non-league test with a 22-14 record. In their last test, Oklahoma City Storm walloped Seminole (Seminole, OK), 57-42, in a non-league test.

The Mustangs now own a 1-16 record. They take the field next when they travel to Otis-Bison for a Central Prairie test on Tuesday, February 14. Macksville will clash with a Cougars squad coming off a 41-29 league win over Ness City (Ness City, KS). The Cougars record now stands at 7-9.
