(November 15, 2011: Gulfport, MS 39503) West Harrison Hurricanes (Gulfport, MS) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Ocean Springs Greyhounds (Ocean Springs, MS), 81-69 in a non-league bout.

With the win, West Harrison upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Hurricanes host Pascagoula (Pascagoula, MS) to encounter the Panthers in a non-league bout on Friday, November 18. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Pascagoula won 57-51 in their recent non-league bout against Hancock (Kiln, MS)

Next up, the Greyhounds battle the Bay Tigers (Bay St. Louis, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, November 21. Ocean Springs will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.
