(October 24, 2008: Edwards AFB, CA 93523) The Desert Scorpions football squad scored 28 points and limited the visiting Kern Valley Broncs to 21 in the Scorpions league win on Friday.

The Scorpions now possess a 6-2 record. They play next when they host Rosamond for a High Desert battle on Friday, October 31. Desert will play a Roadrunners squad coming off a 22-0 league win over Frazier Mountain (Lebec, CA). The Roadrunners record now stands at 2-6.
