Texas High School Basketball - Boerne-Champion overwhelms Tivy

(January 17, 2012: Boerne, TX 78006) Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Boerne-Champion Chargers (Boerne, TX) and the visiting Tivy Antlers (Kerrville, TX), saw Boerne-Champion's basketball squad trounce Tivy by a score of 51-25.

With the victory, Boerne-Champion improves its record to 22-5 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Uvalde (Uvalde, TX) to clash with the Coyotes in a 4A Region IV District 28 test on Friday, January 20. The Coyotes go into the test with a record of 2-21. Uvalde lost 81-23 in their recent league test against Harlandale (San Antonio, TX)

The Antlers now own a 7-15 record. They take the field next when they travel to Uvalde for a 4A Region IV District 28 test on Tuesday, January 24.
