(January 25, 2012: New Holland, PA 17557) The Columbia Crimson Tide basketball team scored 52 points and held the host Garden Spot Spartans to 47 in the Crimson Tide non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Crimson Tide now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lebanon Catholic for a Lancaster-Lebanon 4 contest on Friday, January 27. Columbia will confront a Beavers team coming off a 62-52 non-league loss to Manheim Central (Manheim, PA). The Beavers record now stands at 6-12.

The Spartans (10-6) will now prepare for their contest against Northern Lebanon (Fredericksburg, PA). The Vikings enter the Lancaster-Lebanon 3 contest with a 9-7 record. In their last contest, Northern Lebanon nudged Annville-Cleona (Annville, PA), 58-48, in a non-league contest.
