Kentucky High School Football - Central succumbs to Johnson Central

(October 12, 2007: Paintsville, KY 41240) The Johnson Central Golden Eagles thwarted the visiting Central Yellowjackets football team by a count of 48-29 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Johnson Central upgrades its record to 6-1 on the season. The Golden Eagles travel to Montgomery County (Mt. Sterling, KY) to encounter the Indians in a 5A District 6 outing on Friday, October 19. The Indians go into the outing with a record of 5-2. Montgomery County lost 34-14 in their recent league outing against Bryan Station (Lexington, KY)

With the loss, Central moves to 4-3 on the season. The Yellowjackets host Moore (Louisville, KY) to encounter the Mustangs in a 3A District 3 outing on Friday, October 19. The Mustangs go into the outing with a record of 3-5. Moore lost 49-20 in their recent non-league outing against Seneca (Louisville, KY)
