(February 2, 2012: Yankton, SD 57078) Yankton Bucks/Gazelles (Yankton, SD) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Brandon Valley Lynx (Brandon, SD), 60-48 in a league bout.

With the win, Yankton upgrades its record to 9-5 on the season. The Bucks/Gazelles host Huron (Huron, SD) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 2-13. Huron lost 42-40 in their recent non-league bout against Sturgis Brown (Sturgis, SD)

Next up, the Lynx play the O'Gorman Knights (Sioux Falls, SD) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Brandon Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 10-5 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 10-7 record after their 58-43 non-league win over Riggs (Pierre, SD).
