(October 6, 2011: Thurmont, MD 21788) The Boonsboro Warriors football squad scored 39 points and restricted the host Catoctin Cougars to 33 in the Warriors league victory on Thursday.
The Warriors now possess a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hedgesville for a non-league battle on Friday, October 14. Boonsboro will play a Eagles squad coming off a 54-13 league loss to Musselman (Inwood, WV). The Eagles record now stands at 2-4.
Coming up next, the Cougars play the South Hagerstown Rebels (Hagerstown, MD) in a Monocacy Valley - Antietam battle, on Friday, October 14. Catoctin will attempt to advance on its 3-3 season record.
