(October 24, 2008: Pleasanton, CA 94566) The De La Salle Spartans (Concord, CA) football defeated the host Amador Valley Dons (Pleasanton, CA), 34-14 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Spartans face the Monte Vista Mustangs (Danville, CA) in a East Bay bout, on Friday, October 31. De La Salle will attempt to move on its 6-1 season record. The Mustangs enter the bout with a 7-0 record after their 51-16 league win over Livermore (Livermore, CA).
