Texas High School Basketball - Frisco ripped by Liberty

(January 13, 2012: Frisco, TX 75035) The Liberty Redhawks basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Frisco Raccoons to 19 in the Redhawks league triumph on Friday.

The Redhawks now sport a 14-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Newman Smith for a 4A Region II District 9 contest on Tuesday, January 17. Liberty will meet a Trojans team coming off a 49-29 league win over Creekview (Carrollton, TX). The Trojans record now stands at 9-10.

The Raccoons (3-19) will now prepare for their contest against Wakeland (Frisco, TX). The Wolverines enter the 4A Region II District 9 contest with a 16-8 record. In their last contest, Wakeland trounced Turner (Carrollton, TX), 81-28, in a league contest.
