(January 20, 2012: Charlotte, NC 28209) Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Myers Park Mustangs (Charlotte, NC) and the visiting Butler Bulldogs (Matthews, NC), saw Myers Park's basketball squad knock off Butler by a score of 66-50.

With the victory, Myers Park improves its record to 18-0 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to East Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC) to clash with the Eagles in a 4A Southwestern outing on Tuesday, January 24. The Eagles go into the outing with a record of 5-11. East Mecklenburg lost 43-40 in their recent league outing against Independence (Charlotte, NC)

The Bulldogs now own a 8-9 record. They take the field next when they host Rocky River for a 4A Southwestern outing on Tuesday, January 24. Butler will clash with a Ravens squad coming off a 46-39 league win over Providence (Charlotte, NC). The Ravens record now stands at 6-10.
