(January 9, 2012: Grapevine, TX 76051) In Monday's league outing, the MacArthur Cardinals (Irving, TX) basketball squad beat the host Grapevine Mustangs (Grapevine, TX), by a margin of 66-48.
The Cardinals (23-2) will now prepare for their outing against Trinity (Euless, TX). The Trojans go into the 5A Region I District 6 outing with a 13-9 record. In their last outing, Trinity was topped by Grapevine (Grapevine, TX), 45-44, in a league outing.
The Mustangs now own a 8-12 record. They take the field next when they host Pantego Christian for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 10. Grapevine will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 60-36 non-league loss to Trinity Valley (Fort Worth, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 9-7.
