Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Clearfield succumbs to Central Mountain

(January 17, 2012: Mill Hall, PA 17751) The Central Mountain Wildcats thwarted the visiting Clearfield Bison basketball team by a score of 50-37 in Tuesday's non-league battle.

The Wildcats now possess a 7-7 record. They play next when they host Mifflin County for a non-league battle on Friday, January 20. Central Mountain will meet a team coming off a 74-24 non-league win over Wilkinsburg (Wilkinsburg, PA). The record now stands at 10-3.

The Bison (8-4) will now prepare for their battle against Bald Eagle Area (Wingate, PA). The Bald Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 10-2 record. In their last battle, Bald Eagle Area prevailed over Penns Valley Area (Spring Mills, PA), 50-36, in a league battle.
