(September 17, 2011: Maple Grove, MN 55311) The Heritage Christian Academy Eagles volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Providence Academy Lions to 0 in the Eagles non-league victory on Saturday.
The Eagles now have a 6-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southwest Christian for a Minnesota Christian game on Tuesday, September 20. Heritage Christian Academy will meet a Stars team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Chanhassen (Chanhassen, MN). The Stars record now stands at 4-2.
The Lions (3-10) will now prepare for their game against DeLaSalle (Minneapolis, MN). The Islanders enter the Tri-Metro game with a 5-6 record. In their last game, DeLaSalle gained a win over Brooklyn Center (Brooklyn Center, MN), 3-0, in a league game.
