Texas High School Basketball - Steele crushes San Marcos

(December 10, 2011: Cibolo, TX 78108) Steele Knights (Cibolo, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting San Marcos Rattlers (San Marcos, TX), 72-36 in a league bout.

With the win, Steele upgrades its record to 8-5 on the season. The Knights travel to Hendrickson (Pflugerville, TX) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 10. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 8-5. Hendrickson lost 60-36 in their recent non-league bout against Churchill (San Antonio, TX)

Next up, the Rattlers play the Bowie Bulldogs (Austin, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 16. San Marcos will attempt to upgrade on its 7-11 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 11-8 record after their 47-38 non-league win over Cedar Park (Cedar Park, TX).
