Washington High School Basketball - Issaquah crushes Ballard

(February 2, 2012: Issaquah, WA 98027) Issaquah Eagles (Issaquah, WA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Ballard Beavers (Seattle, WA), 60-30 in a league bout.

With the win, Issaquah upgrades its record to 14-5 on the season. The Eagles travel to Newport (Bellevue, WA) to play the Knights in a 4A KingCo bout on Saturday, February 4. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 7-9. Newport lost 44-36 in their recent league bout against Garfield (Seattle, WA)

Next up, the Beavers play the Bothell Cougars (Bothell, WA) in a 4A KingCo bout, on Saturday, February 4. Ballard will attempt to upgrade on its 5-14 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 0-19 record after their 66-17 league loss to Skyline (Sammamish, WA).
