Oregon High School Basketball - Enterprise nudges Elgin

(January 7, 2012: Elgin, OR 97827) In Saturday's league outing, the Enterprise Outlaws (Enterprise, OR) basketball squad edged the host Elgin Huskies (Elgin, OR), by a count of 61-57.

The Outlaws (5-8) will now prepare for their outing against Weston-McEwen (Athena, OR). The TigerScots go into the 2A Blue Mountain outing with a 8-5 record. In their last outing, Weston-McEwen was tipped by Stanfield (Stanfield, OR), 63-60, in a league outing.

The Huskies now hold a 2-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Union for a 2A Blue Mountain outing on Friday, January 13. Elgin will encounter a Bobcats squad coming off a 88-64 league loss to Pilot Rock (Pilot Rock, OR). The Bobcats record now stands at 2-10.
