Kansas High School Basketball - Trego trounces Western Plains

Trego Golden Eagles (WaKeeney, KS) basketball crushed the host
Western Plains Bobcats (Ransom, KS),
75-40 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Golden Eagles (10-1) will now prepare for their test against
Hill City (Hill City, KS). The Ringnecks go into the
Mid-Continent test with a 7-5 record. In their last test,
Hill City was trounced by
Hoxie (Hoxie, KS),
48-47, in a non-league test.
The Bobcats now own a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they host
Northern Valley for a
Cheyenne test on Friday, January 25.
Western Plains will clash with a Huskies squad coming off a
59-30 non-league loss to
Victoria (Victoria, KS). The Huskies record now stands at 1-9.
